Ballasts: Prostate Biopsy Result
Dear Prayer Partners,
Rejoice with us that the result of Mike's recent prostate biopsy was not cancer, but benign prostatitis. With his doctor here in Baguio he will continue to monitor this condition. His PSA tests continue to be extremely high and we ask for prayer that God will bring healing and direction for treatment.
Also rejoice that our current Adult Evangelism training semester is yielding many professions of faith in Christ. Since the training began last July 19 we have had 34 people pray to trust Christ for their eternal life. Along with this we are seeing our long running building construction coming to an end as more rooms are ready for use in ministry. We have added Sunday School rooms, a Great Room, a youth room, a Kitchen and a counseling room as well as a significant expansion of our auditorium. For all these things we praise God for His faithful provision.
Last July our family had a family reunion. Everyone was there including our children and all seven of our grandchildren. We have attached a picture we took during the week of our reunion. Our newest adopted grandson, Benjamin Michael Ballast, is right in the center of the photo.
We are grateful for your prayer for us and our ministry here in the Philippines.
In Christ,
Mike and Carolyn
